In 2000, the Orchard Park Youth Basketball Association was created with the mission to teach the game of basketball to children ages 6 to 18. We stress the fundamentals of basketball, success through teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship in a fun and safe environment. Since this time, over 5,000 kids have registered to participate in the OPYBA.
Our House League features 7 leagues: High School, Senior Boys, Senior Girls, Junior Boys, Junior Girls, Minors and Rookies. And, as OPYBA has grown, we have added travel teams (both boys and girls) for grades 4th through 8th, coaching clinics, boys and girls summer skills camp and have organized league nights with local college teams, such as Canisius and UB, as well as our local Orchard Park School teams.
OPYBA is a non-profit organization - run entirely by volunteers. In order to continue to provide the aforementioned benefits to our players and maintain a competitive program, we rely greatly on the support of the community and businesses of Orchard Park-like you!

*We will do our best to accommodate your wishes in regards to League Sponsorships. We work on a first come, first served basis. If your desired league has already been sponsored, we will allocate your sponsorship to another available league. Should we obtain more than 7 Platinum Level 1 League Sponsors, we will allow co-sponsoring of Leagues, splitting the jerseys in that league between the sponsors.
Please note: OPYBA does not do individual “team” sponsors. All sponsorships are at the league level.
